In Japan, there is a tradition called Hatsumōde. On January 1st, many Japanese people go to a shrine or temple to pray for success in the new year and for the health and safety of themselves and their families.
Let us give our worship to the Lord Jesus Christ, who created heaven and earth and gave us eternal life through the cross. Only Jesus is worthy to receive worship.
